The two bedrooms downstairs contain a Queen size bed in one room and single bunks in the second room, The master bedroom upstairs features a king size bed and a large picture window where you can relax in bed whilst enjoying the beautiful bay view.   This is a wonderful place to stay. It has all of the facilities you might need and was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom as do the two downstairs. It is also a less than a 10 minute stroll from the shops. The highlight is the views from the front, and the front and back decks, giving you comfortable outdoor living in most wind conditions.

  Our family have been coming to Bridport every January for 18 years. This year was our favourite. The accommodation was so comfortable and with two adult children the 2 bedrooms with queens and a King were wonderful. The views are spectacular.   overall, a lovely place to stay being close to shops and beaches!! we had a couple from South Africa staying with us who found it dangerous to step up and down from the deck without any handrails!!   We had a great time at the holiday rental. My brother, my mate and I stayed at Bridport for the fact it’s only 10 mins drive from Barnbougle golf courses (no 2 and 3 best in Australia) as I bet a lot of your guests do as well. We loved the fact we could walk in under 10 mins to the majority of eateries in Bridport. We are lucky we went to Bridport hotel on our first night. The 500 gram scotch with the beef and reef sauce knocked our socks off. This became our go pub/restaurant for meals after trying another restaurant on our second night. No comparison for quality and value. The locals we met in the bar were nice and friendly. One guy had a golden retriever pup in there that he had named Duncan as he loves to have a beer with Duncan. Had a great pool table next to an open fire too. Closes early (8.30 pm Monday night) as it got pretty quiet after 8pm. The rental was really clean and has amazing views overlooking the bay. We didn’t get to appreciate the front deck area as our stay was in the middle of winter but with the sun coming through the kitchen and lounge windows in the morning, I think it would be well appreciated for stays not during winter taking in the views. Only issue we had was the downstairs bathroom shower head that droops down and won’t stay up. Ended up propping it up with the widow squeegee to lift into perfect height. Gets a little chilly but the reverse cycle heats the house up pretty fast. Would love to come back and stay another time. You can definitely see why Barnbougle is rated so high. The 19th at both courses are great too. Thanks. Pete

  We have been staying here for a couple of years now for our annual Barnbougle Golf Trip. It is in a great location, easy walk to town. The new owners have continually improving it since acquiring.   A spacious 4 bedroom home with extensive views towards Bass Strait. The 3 double bedrooms were fine - the bunks a little awkward for an adult but comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. We never got to use BBQ but was a good size located on a smallish balcony at rear (would be nicer on the front deck!). Yards saturated (recent rain) but orderly. Short walk to shops. We were hoping to have access to black house at rear but paling fence replaced with permalum (why not install a gate and advertise link access for golf groups?) All in all a nice home and we enjoyed our stay.
